Leather Love

I am loving leather everything and anything at the moment (faux of course; I don’t approve of the harming of animals for fashion).  Here are some of my favourite leather looks:

First things first, the classic biker jacket – a must have for every wardrobe, you can wear a leather jacket with absolutely anything!

And this is the perfect example of pairing a leather jacket with anything, Rachel Zoe (stylist to the stars) is always putting leather jackets with long soft flowing dresses… and it works:

Another must-have item is the leather pants or leather leggings, first made cool (in my opinion) by Jim Morrison from The Doors, and there are many ways to wear them.  Here you can have the classic rock-chick look:

The leather leggings, and a classic winter coat:

Or the super funky leather ‘jogging’ pants – thank you Kanye!

Or my personal favourite, Kylie Jenner in these burgundy Parker Faux Leather Pants – I am hoping to see these in Australian stores this coming Winter!

Then you have this cute leather skirt – which I would totally wear to the office (well maybe if it was an inch longer) – also love the ankle boots:

And last-but-not-least something for the Summer, these cute little leather shorts as seen on Miranda Kerr a while back, paired with a casual white t-shirt – you can’t go wrong!

I know most of these looks aren’t from the current runways, but this isn’t about the most current trends, it’s about the looks I love – young or old!
